SMN produces award-winning work for its clients in the areas of web design and development and social media that engage fans in new and different ways enhancing their experiences with sports.
Working in conjunction with Fan Mosaic, MillerCoors, and Team Penske, SMN developed a social media-driven promotion dubbed “Get On The 2″ around Brad Keselowski’s No. 2 Miller Lite Ford and the NASCAR All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. For a period of two months proceeding the All-Star Race, Brad and Miller Lite, via social media, encouraged fans to upload “Miller Time” photos through a dedicated website. The photos were assembled into a mosaic that replicated the paint scheme on Brad’s car. This mosaic was then applied to the car for the All-Star Race. Fans were able to view their image(s) on the car via the dedicated website and purchase a commemorative poster. The proceeds from the sales of the posters were donated to Brad’s Checkered Flag Foundation. The overall program earned NASCAR’s award for “Most Creative Use Of Digital And Social Media” in 2013.
