J. Christian Hauser


Christian Hauser joined the firm in November of 2005. He provides legal services to the clients of SMN both during their sports and entertainment careers and post-careers with their respective business interests. Christian’s areas of practice include business law, construction law, contract interpretation, civil litigation, commercial transactions, and sports and entertainment law.

Christian has extensive litigation experience and has successfully litigated various matters in several states to successful conclusion, including a verdict in the amount of $2.1 Million in favor of a firm client following a two-week trial in Federal Court. An attorney since 1998 as well as a licensed builder in the state of Michigan, Christian earned his undergraduate degree from Aquinas College and his J.D. from the University of Detroit School of Law. Christian has also presented various seminars to both organizations and clients regarding current legal trends in their respective fields.

Christian is also very active in the local running and fitness community, having completed 11 marathons (including two Boston Marathon finishes) and dozens of half-marathons. Christian also volunteers his time and legal resources to the Hansons Olympic Development Program, an organization based in Rochester Hills, Michigan that develops and trains distance runners for international competition including the Olympic Games.
